The founding and early development of the school are associated with community figures including Late Netrapani Dhungel of Kabre-6, Late Shri Dadhiram Upreti of Kabre-4, Late Shri Gaurikant Dahal of Kabre-6, Late Shri Chhabilal Dahal of Kabre-7, and Shri Padam Bahadur Khadka of Kabre-4.

In B.S. 2020, the school was transferred to Kabre-4, Jyamire, a location considered more central and convenient for local residents. Shri Chhabilal Dahal, Shri Ram Prasad Dahal, Shri Ranglal Lamichhane, and Shri Padam Bahadur Khadka were active in the establishment and relocation process.

Additional support for the school was provided by individuals including Shri Gopikrishna Ghimire, Shri Baburam Dahal, Shri Tulsi Prasad Ghimire, Shri Krishna Prasad Lamichhane, Shri Dhanprasad Lamichhane, and Shri Hari Prasad Dahal through the provision of land.

Academic Development

The school gradually expanded its academic levels. Lower secondary classes began in B.S. 2033, secondary classes in B.S. 2041, and higher secondary education in B.S. 2053. Nursery classes have been operating within the school premises since B.S. 2062.

Bachelor-level teaching in the Faculty of Education has been conducted in the morning hours with the approval of Tribhuvan University since B.S. 2058. The three-year B.Ed. program under the management of Hanumanteshwor Higher Secondary School has been running since 2002.

From the academic year 2066/067, homemaking classes have been running after 4 pm. The school has also planned to launch technical education in possible areas such as computer science, agriculture, and health science.
