Overview
Jan Jyoti Secondary School, Surkhet (जन ज्योति माध्यमिक विद्यालय, सुर्खेत) is a Community-owned academic institute located in Baddichaur Surkhet, Karnali Province of Nepal. This Secondary School is affiliated to National Examinations Board –NEB and CTEVT – Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, Nepal. It is approved by MoE -Ministry of Education. It offers Ten Plus Two (10+2) programs in the Education stream.
Jan Jyoti Secondary School, Baddichaur, Surkhet also offers 3 years of full-time Diploma level program in Agriculture (Plant Science) and 18 months JTA programs such as JTA in Plant Sciences for 40 students each year. It provides 10+2 level education and technical programs with minimal fee structure and also provides various facilities including a scholarship for deserving and needy students from the community as per the decision of the school management committee. At least 10% of seats will be provided full scholarships for Diploma and JTA Programs. Most of the JTA students have been earning on the job training.
