Overview

Purnachandi Boarding Secondary School (PUBOSS) was established in 1980 A.D. (2037 B.S.) as a Private educational institution, which is located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examinations Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from Playgroup to Grade 10 (SEE) and plus two programs in Management, Science, and Humanities stream.

Scholarship scheme

The school provides the scholarships for the needy students as per their skills, talents as well as their performance in the entrance exam during the time of admissions for the new students in all the streams – Science, Management and Humanities.

Salient features

Hospital Facilities:- PUBOSS has a mutual agreement with Ganeshman Singh Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Lalitpur. Therefore, in case of any emergency or health-related issue, students will be taken there for immediate treatment, where they will be treated under expert doctors, nurses, and medical experts. Moreover, all the students of PUBOSS are provided with free emergency services and a discount of 25% will be given for general checkups in the hospital.

Computer Training:- After getting an admission, every student must take one or one-half month’s Computer basic training with free of cost in order to enhance computer knowledge. Besides the basic course, PUBOSS will provide a web page designing package with minimum cost.

Hostel:- PUBOSS provides separate hostels for boys and girls with a homey environment. This facility is provided especially for students who come from outside capital as well as for the students of Kathmandu Valley proper for their better study.

Library:- The School has a full-fledged library to cater to every educational need of a student. The library has the facility of providing the students with the required textbooks for the entire academic year at the time of admission. These books, however, have to be returned to the library on the aforesaid date.
