Facebook Launches Express WiFi Service in Nepal:

Facebook has announced the launch of 'Express-WiFi' service in Nepal. In collaboration with internet service provider WorldLink, Facebook has said that free express WiFi has been launched in 7,500 places in Nepal.

At a press conference on Thursday, WorldLink said such services would be available in public places in Nepal.
Facebook collaborates with local Internet service providers in other countries for such WiFi services. Facebook has started this type of service in India and Nepal, which have been selected in Asia. It is claimed that the collaboration between the two companies will play an important role in providing cheap, reliable, and high-speed public WiFi.

For this service, WorldLink will be provided with the necessary tools by Facebook with prerequisites. Now for free WiFi, Facebook will provide software platforms even if it has an access point, network, and bandwidth company.

Now, even if you connect to the network once like before, you don't have to connect again and again by putting code. Thus, the company will provide a free Wi-Fi facility by setting a limit of 15 minutes to two hours. Can be reconnected after the specified period.

Keshav Nepal, CEO of WorldLink, said that the free Wi-Fi service has already been provided but now the service will be effective through collaboration with Facebook. The company is currently providing public WiFi in 10,000 locations across the country.

KYC is mandatory in such WiFi. The company is promoting the project under social responsibility.

Now, once connected to such public WiFi spots, the service has been expanded to automatically connect to WiFi in other places.

You need to have your mobile number to connect to such WiFi. Once the code arrives on the mobile, you can register for the service. If not local number, WhatsApp number can also be used.

The company also aims to expand such services to 30,000 locations across the country. Now there is a plan to give priority to rural areas.

Amit Singh, Facebook's growth manager, said such services would reduce the pressure on the Forge network. He says Express WiFi will help you get high-speed internet service. For this service, Facebook has provided a cloud-based software system to WorldLink.

Managing Director of WorldLink, Dilip Agrawal, said that the company has been trying to provide quality services to the people from the very beginning. He said the company would also start data services if the government provided the allotted frequency to the ISP.

He claims that now the public WiFi service will be more effective from Facebook's software system.
