ICT Award 2020

ICT Award 2020 Selection Process Continues:

The selection process for the 2020 edition of the ICT Award, known as a prestigious award in the field of information technology, is underway. A 14-member jury committee has made public the results of four different categories in the second phase.

Startup ICT Award 2020 and Rising Student ICT Award 2020 have entered the category for the selection of the best 12 third round. Similarly, in the category of Product ICT Awards 2020, the best 13 products have entered the selection of the third stage while in the Innovation-Driven Crisis Response ICT Award 2020, the best 14 innovations have entered the selection of the third stage.

The fifth edition of the ICT Awards 2020 opened online applications for 11 disciplines. The organizers have informed that more than 350 online applications have been received in 11 different categories. The selection process, which started last August, is continuing. Sushil Pokharel of the jury committee said that the best will be selected by selecting the best three out of the other seven categories. The grand finale of the ICT Awards 2020 will be held in the first week of December this year.

The best startups, products, student projects, and innovations selected from the second round have to participate in a presentation and speed dating session before a 14-member jury for the third-round selection. The top 5 selected from that session will be selected for public voting. Along with public voting, start-up companies will also conduct field visits, said Rajan Lamsal, coordinator of the organizing committee.

There is also a 12-member special jury advisory committee to make the award fair and excellent.

Organized by Living with ICT, the ICT Award 2020 has the support of various agencies of the Government of Nepal, Nepal Telecommunication Authority, Nasht, Genus Solutions, Eminence Ways, e-Services, and other organizations.
