Kaski Police Launched Nepal Police Mobile App:

District Police Office, Kaski has launched the 'Nepal Police' mobile app for the first time in Gandaki. The app was unveiled by Kaski Police Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) Jeevan Kumar Shrestha at a press conference on Thursday.

He is confident that the app will help in controlling the criminal activities, incidents, and information of the community in a quick and technological manner to prevent further damage and control the criminals immediately.

He said that after downloading the app, which runs on both Android and iPhone, the public can immediately inform the police about the incident from where they are and there is no obligation to come to the police officer.

Gajendra Acharya, Technical Inspector of Gandaki State Police Office, Pokhara, gave information about the mobile app and clarified its operation, purpose, and implementation.

Arrangements have been made to facilitate the police in reporting on information related to death-related offenses, road accidents, fraud, sexual offenses, drugs, missing persons, domestic violence, looting, theft, weapons, and explosives.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kaski, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Subash Hamal said that the COVID-19 update, details of criminal incidents, incident accidents, emergency numbers, news, guidelines, FM and information about the nearest police offices have been included in the report. According to him, the app can be downloaded by going to the Play Store. When giving information, the indicator can be given without logging in to hide one's identity.
