The procedure for expanding optical fiber in the mid highway is ahead. Nepal Telecom Company Limited (Nepal Telecom) has already been working in three packages for the work of handling optical fiber on the Madhya Pahadi Lokmarga. Telecom has said that two Chinese and one Korean company had agreed.

The company had received optical fiber expansion from the Nepal Telecommunication Authority in states 1, 2 and 3. Telecom management director Dilliram Adhikari said that the three companies of these three states signed an agreement with the Korean company for Chinese and Territories to split optical fibers. "Contract agreement has been made with the company providing essential tools to print optical fiber," the official said. "For this, there is a charge of Korean company LX cable, for State 2 Aarogya infrastructure and a joint venture of China Railway." The official said the agreement with the China Communications Services International (CCSI).

According to the officials, CCSI had also got the official extension of the telecom. The Telecom, who had forwarded the process of forge extensions across the country, gave the CCSI an essential network of tools to provide. There has been a deal with three company in 18 months to sort out the optical. For this project, Telecom had compromised the authority with the authority in the year 2073.

A grant of 9.88 billion has been disbursed for 'optical backbone network project' as the largest project of authority. The Authority had made an agreement with Nepal Telecom to provide four billion and 87 million grants. On the other hand, Smart Telecom also has started working out optical fibers in the states 5, 6 and 7. Smart Telecom started launching fiber from Nepalgunj on February 5, 2019. Smart Telecom had signed the CCSN (China Communications Services Nepal) for fiber expansion in the prescribed state.

Smart Telecom has been planning to compete in this year the working out optical fibers in Barke, Bardiya, and 19 districts of province 6 and 7 such as Surkhet, Dailekh, Jarakkot, Dolpa, Jumla, Kalikot, Mugu, Humla, Accham, Bajura, Bahjang, Doti, Kaliali, Kanchanpur, Dhadeldhura, Baitadi and Darchula. The task is to complete the task within one year. The government has provided a sum of Rs. 3 billion to the Telecom Telecommunications Fund for the work as a subsidy. Smart Telecom will build, operate, manage and repair it for 25 years.
