Nepal Telecom Adds Eight Local Languages Support:

Nepal Telecom has been providing information about the services of the company in the local language targeting the service recipients who speak different mother tongues of the country. The company is providing information in the same local language with the objective of reaching out to different language speakers, castes, and communities.

For this work, business cooperation is going on between Nepal Telecom and Radio Nepal. According to Nepal Telecom, different messages with different dialects are being broadcast in about one and a half dozen languages ​​through Radio Nepal Central Broadcasting Center Singha Durbar and provincial broadcasting centers Dhankuta, Bardibas, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dang, and Dipayal.

Various messages are being broadcast in Rai Bantawa, Limbu, Purbeli Tharu, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Tamang, Sherpa, Urdu, Nepal (Newari), Gurung, Magar, Awadhi, Paschima Tharu, Kham Magar, Doteli, and Rana Tharu languages.

The company expects to benefit the service recipients of different languages ​​and communities across the country as these messages provide information on various services of Nepal Telecom including data and voice and how to use it. Nepal Telecom is currently providing various types of voice and data packs as an Autumn offer.

The festival also offers Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals as an additional minute bonus for recharging GSM and CDMA mobiles.
