Nepal Telecom (NTC) Ready to Launch 4G VoLTE:

Nepal Telecom is now offering high-quality voice service in 4G (LTE) technology. The company claims that customers of NTC's GSM mobile service will be able to get better voice service after the launch of this trial service.
Now NTC is providing voice service in TDM technology. Once this service is launched, the voice service will be based on LTE.

After the launch of this service, mobile phones on NTC will come to the internet-based system. However, the billing will be done through the current system, said Dilliram Adhikari, managing director of NTC.

Now the internet runs on mobile-only when you open the internet. However, after the telecom starts testing services, the service can be availed by connecting the phone to the internet even when the call comes.

In other cases, the current data carrier phone stays in the 3G / 2G circuit, but with the introduction of new technology, the phone can be used through the Internet. In order to connect to this service, a certain quality Forge network must be available.

NTC claims that after the launch of this service, the communication between the service recipients will be much clearer than now, and the quality-related problems including misunderstanding while calling will be reduced.

To get this service the mobile set must be eligible for the technology. Telecom has requested various companies to enable voice over LTE (VoLTE) service in their sets. Telecom will list the models of mobile sets that have passed the VoLTE test. Now the models of various companies have brought this service to the market by keeping it open.

Telecom plans to launch this service commercially soon. The company said it will be notified how to activate the service once it is launched.
