Must be a Nepali citizen

Must not be disqualified under Rule 10 of the Teachers Service Commission Regulation, 2057 (with amendments)

For Primary Level: Must have passed Secondary Education Examination (Class 12) or equivalent from a recognized educational institution and completed at least 10 months of training in Education

Must have obtained a permanent teaching license for the related level. If the license of a higher level is held, it will be considered valid as minimum requirement
