ActionAid is a global justice federation working to achieve social justice, gender equality and, poverty eradication. ActionAid International Nepal (AAIN) is a member of the federation, working for human rights, anti-poverty and, gender equality. It is a non-governmental national social justice organization established in 1982 and working locally in different provinces of Nepal. It is also a part of both national and global social justice movement and other civil society networks, alliances and, coalitions.

AAIN seeks a competent and committed candidate for the following positions:

Organizational Governance and Executive Coordinator

The Organizational Governance and Executive Coordinator shall lead and facilitate the overall organizational governance for AAIN by working with the Executive Director (ED), National Board and Sub committees with the objective of the attainment of the Membership Development Process.

Key qualifications and competencies:

  • Master's degree in Organizational Development or relevant field from a recognized University
  • At least 5 -7 years of work experience in related field in a similar organization
  • 3-4-year -work experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of governance concepts
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement, maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency in English language and fluency in written and spoken Nepali

Impact Assessment and Learning Coordinator

The Impact Assessment and Learning Coordinator shall ensure and enable result based robust planning, monitoring evaluation and learning systems that improve the quality and effectiveness of our work in line with the Strategy 2023 and Accountability Learning and Planning System (ALPS) at AAIN and Partner Organization levels.

Key qualifications and competencies:

  • Master's degree in Social sciences or relevant field from a recognized University
  • At least 5 -7 years of work experience in related field in a similar organization
  • 3-4-year -work experience in similar lar role
  • Budget management experience
  • Proficiency in English language and fluency in written and spoken Nepali

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant shall provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Director (ED) to enable efficient overall AAIN operation, relations and, coordination.

Key qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or relevant field from a recognized University
  • At least 3-4-year work experience in related field in a similar organization
  • 1-2-year work experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of normal practice in non-profit organizations
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement, maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency in English language and fluency in written and spoken Nepali

Human Resource Assistant

The Human Resource Assistant shall ensure maintenance of HR related data/information, provide efficient support in day to day HROD department operations and facilitate the implementation of HROD policy and systems.

Key qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or relevant field from a recognized University
  • At least 3-4-year work experience in related field in a similar organization
  • 1-2-year work experience in a similar role
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement, maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency in English language and fluency in written and spoken Nepali
