Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) Vacancy for CEO: Since the vacant post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) will be filled through an open competition, the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073, and the regulations regarding qualifications and work experience required for the appointment of Directors and Chief Executive Officers of Banks and Financial Institutions 2074, Nepal Rastra Bank's Integrated Guidelines and Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. Based on the procedure for filling the post of Chief Executive Officer, 2079, from eligible Nepali citizens who have obtained the following minimum educational qualification and experience for the post of Chief Executive Officer within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of publication of this notice for the first time up to 10/15/2079 (office time) Inside) This notice is published for the information of all concerned to apply at the company secretariat located at the bank's head office, in Kathmandu.

1) Minimum Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

(a) acquired a post graduate degree in Management, Banking, Financial, Monetary, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Statistics, Accountancy, Mathematics, Business Administration or Law,

(b) Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Bachelor's Degree in Management, Banking, Financial, Monetary, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accountancy, Mathematics, Business Administration or Law in Banking and Financial Sector, Government Body, Organized Institution, University or the like At least 10 years of working experience in an international association or organization authorized at the level or higher level,

(c) The qualifications and criteria for the post of Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Rastra Bank have been fulfilled.

2) Documents and details to be submitted:

  • Detailed personal details (Bio-Data) including educational qualification, experience, contact address (email, telephone, mobile number, home and office address) will have to be submitted by the candidate at the end of each page.
  • Self-attested copies of certificate of Nepali citizenship, certificate of educational qualification and professional experience will have to be presented in the application form.
  • Candidates participating in the presentation and interview will have to submit complete copies of their educational qualification, experience, certificate of Nepalese citizenship and other documents submitted along with the application.
  • The candidate will have to submit four copies (including soft copy) of the business plan (not exceeding five thousand words) prepared according to the Tokii norms related to the Agricultural Development Bank.
  • If the applicant is a serving body, along with the application, the departmental acceptance letter has to be attached.
  • Proof of professional experience required for banking business.
  • Proof of having done the highest level of work in banking or financial business.
  • Outstanding works done in administrative form.
  • Applicant's self-declaration along with the application details to be submitted:

3) Along with the application, the applicant himself will have to attach details and documents certified by the applicant himself.

(a) not being a member of any political party,

(b)   There is no involvement of himself or any member of his family in any contract, lease or any movable and immovable property related business with Yes Bank or there is no personal interest in Yes Bank,

(c) having no personal outstanding balance in his name,

(d) not convicted by the court in criminal indictment showing corruption, property laundering, banking misconduct or moral turpitude,

(e) not to be punished on the charges of treason or corruption or dishonesty or forgery and not to be punished,

(f) Scheduled banks and financial institutions should not be blacklisted as per prevailing law,

(g) there is no outstanding balance of any kind of tax.

(h) Not disqualified by Banks and Financial Institutions Act 2073, Integrated Directive issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, 2008 and other prevailing Nepal laws.

Business plan to be presented:

Business plan (3051055 7190) to be submitted along with the application to the candidate, prepared on the basis of scope of work and financial information condition (101) as prescribed for the Chief Executive Officer (3051055 7190) The strategy plan and monetary policy for the financial year 2079/50 will have to be prepared by projecting the expected minimum base rate of growth.

4) The structure of the business plan should be as follows.

Executive summary

Introduction Section:

(a) Brief introduction to the bank

(b) Current status of the bank's operations

Problem identification section

(a) Identification of reasons behind the current status of the bank

(b) Analysis of the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and challenges (SWOT) seen in the current situation of the bank.

Analysis Section:

(a) Analysis of Identified reasons and Major areas of strategic reform

(B) Special arrangements for Profitability Enhancement, Competitive Capacity Building, entire banking market, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Institutional Governance Strengthening, Customer Relations, Administrative Overhead Expenses reduction ( Austerity Measures).

(c) Credit Growth and Credit Growth Mitigation

(d) Loan Recovery Strategy

(e) Investment Strategy (Trade Financing Strategy)

(f) Loan Concentration and Diversification

Implementation Action Plan Section with Findings

Time table action plan consisting of analyzed topics and source operations in the analysis section.

Business plan should be prepared in Nepali or English language in 4 (four) copies. The business plan will have to be submitted along with the presentation by the shortlisted candidates on the specified date and time.

Selection Process:

1) Based on the educational qualification and work experience of the candidate and the evaluation of the submitted professional action plan, as far as possible, five candidates will be shortlisted and selected for the presentation of the professional action plan and interview.

(2) Out of the candidates selected according to sub-section (1), at least three people who have obtained the highest score based on their educational qualification and work experience, assessment of professional work plan, presentation and interview will be recommended based on alphabetical order.

Salary details

  • The Chief Executive Officer will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 4 lakh and performance based incentives and other facilities will be provided.

  • At the time of submitting the application, educational qualification, experience, copy of Nepali citizenship certificate, personal details (Bio-Data) and 2 copies of passport size photographs should be submitted with professional action plan attached. "Application for Chief Executive Officer of Agricultural Development Bank Limited (Business Action Plan)" should be mentioned on the outside of the Khamwandi proposal envelope.
  • The bank may cancel the application received according to this notification with or without giving any reason.
