BlinkNow's mission is to change the world by empowering Nepal's children. We do this by providing a quality education, a safe environment and through inspiring others. We invite applications for the following positions (based in Surkhet, Nepal).

Curriculum and Staff Development Expert

  • Key Responsibilities: Staff training, resource management and educational development focusing on curriculum. Continuous improvement of early year's program, primary and secondary school programs; maximize student and teacher achievement. Capacity building for the principal and teachers and exploring relevant external opportunities.
  • Role Requirements: Ph.D. in the education-related field, minimum of ten years' experience in development education. Previous I/NGO experience. Excellent English and world-class knowledge of international standard contemporary education theories and practices.

Donor Relations and Fundraising Officer

  • Key Responsibilities: Support the BlinkNow team, manage donor relations and communication. Create and manage daily social media content across all platforms. Coordinate and manage incoming donors and visitors.
  • Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of five years of experience in I/NGOs -preferably in education or women/children's welfare. Fluency in English communication skills is essential, strong social media and networking skills. International working experience.

HR Officer

  • Key Responsibilities: Lead recruitment and selection- create and post vacancies, screen applications, interviews and prepare required documentation. Create/update personnel and role files. Responsible for efficient orientation of all new hires for BlinkNow and Kopila Valley.
  • Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field, minimum of three years' experience in the relevant post. English communication skills. Pragmatic and strong initiative and ability to manage programs and staff members. International experience.

Program Officer

  • Key Responsibilities: Oversee all programs on the ground in Nepal, fulfill needs as they arise. Communicate and liaise with the different stakeholders, from the Country Director to the head office staff, ensure they are always aware and informed regarding the status of the project. Manage an international team: conduct formal evaluations and informal check-ins on a regular basis.
  • Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field; minimum five years' I/NGO experience- preferably in education or women/children's welfare. English communication skills. Pragmatic, initiative and ability to manage programs and staff members. International experience.
