Technical Assistant Contract Vacancy at DFTQC

The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DFTQC), Babarmahal, Kathmandu under the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, has published a recruitment notice (Notice No. 01/082-83) calling for applications for the post of Technical Assistant on contract service.
According to the department’s approved annual program for the fiscal year 2025/26 (2082/83 BS), qualified technical personnel will be recruited for the department and its subordinate offices. All concerned are informed to submit a duly completed application to the department within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice.
According to the notice, applications have been invited for the post of Technical Assistant under Nepal Agriculture Service, Food Nutrition and Quality Control Group.

The minimum educational qualification required for this post is I.Tech in food technology from a recognized educational institution, or a 3-year diploma level or equivalent in food technology under technical education.
Candidates must submit their applications to the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control, Babarmahal, by office hours on April 13, 2026 (2082-12-30 BS). As of April 13, 2026 (2082-12-30 BS), candidates must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years. In the case of women and persons with disabilities, the upper age limit must not exceed 40 years.
Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline will not be included in the selection process. Salary and facilities of the selected employees will be as per prevailing law.
A written examination and interview will be conducted for this post. The examination date and examination center will be published later.
The application fee for each advertisement has been set at Rs. 700. For candidates applying under additional inclusive group advertisements, an additional fee of Rs. 200 must be paid for each additional group.
The fee must be deposited at Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited under Office Code No.: 312033503 and Revenue Heading No.: 14224, and the original voucher must be submitted along with the application.
