Notice for Staff Recruitment on Contract Service
Galchhi Rural Municipality, Office of Rural Municipal Executive, Baireni, Dhading, Bagmati Province, Nepal, has announced a vacancy notice for the recruitment of employees under the Safe Migration (SaMi) Program.
The purpose of this program is to make foreign employment safe, managed, and dignified. For the implementation of this program, the municipality requires human resources to provide information on safe foreign employment, assistance and facilitation related to foreign employment issues, psychosocial counseling services, and awareness programs for individuals and communities facing mental health challenges.
Eligible and interested Nepali citizens are invited to submit applications within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
Position: Psychosocial Counselor (Level 5)

Qualification:
-
Passed Health Assistant or Staff Nurse from a recognized educational institution, or
-
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Nursing/Psychology/Sociology/Social Work from a recognized university, or
-
Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, or
-
Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling.

Candidates with six months of training in psychosocial counseling certified by the National Health Training Center (NHTC) will be given priority.

Must have basic computer skills and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet, etc.) and be able to prepare reports in the Nepali language.
For those working as Psychosocial Counselors under the SaMi Program:

Minimum academic qualification of Proficiency Certificate Level (10+2 or equivalent).

Must have completed six months of psychosocial counseling training from NHTC and be certified and listed in the training management system of NHTC.
Position: Returnee Volunteer (Part-time)

Minimum of Grade 8 passed.

At least 1 year of work experience in foreign employment (Gulf countries or Malaysia).

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the field of safe foreign employment.
Additional Information

Work Duration: Till the end of Fiscal Year 2082/083, renewable based on program requirements and performance.

Selection Process: Written examination, practical test, and interview. For Returnee Volunteers, only interviews will be conducted.
