Gauradaha Municipality, Office of the Municipal Executive, Gauradaha, Jhapa, Koshi Province, Nepal, Notice Regarding Hiring of Staff on Contract.

For the positions listed below, Gauradaha Municipality requires to hire manpower on a service contract basis. Therefore, interested Nepali citizens who meet the required qualifications are informed to submit their applications within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Minimum Qualifications

1. For Medical Officer: MBBS from a recognized educational institution with valid and updated registration in Nepal Medical Council.

2. For Veterinary Technician: BVSc & AH, BVSc, DVM, or equivalent from a recognized educational institution with registration in Nepal Veterinary Council.

3. For Agriculture Graduate Technician: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Ag.) in Agriculture Science or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

4. For AHW: Passed CMA from a recognized educational institution with valid and updated registration in Nepal Health Professional Council.

5. For Municipal Police: Minimum SLC/SEE from a recognized institution and fulfillment of minimum standards required for security agencies. For retired personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, or Armed Police Force, minimum educational qualification is not required.

Age Limit

1. For Medical Officer: 21–45 years as of the last application date.

2. For Veterinary Technician, Agriculture Graduate Technician, and AHW: 18–40 years as of the last application date.

3. For Municipal Police: 18–40 years, but up to 45 years for retired personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, or Armed Police Force.

Type of Examination

1. For Health Service and Agriculture Service positions: Written and interview among shortlisted candidates.

2. For Municipal Police: Physical fitness test, written examination, and interview among shortlisted candidates.

Required Documents

• Certified copy of academic qualification certificates

• Certified copy of Nepali citizenship certificate

• Certified copy of character certificate

• Certified copy of work experience certificate

• Copy of valid registration certificate from respective council or authority as per Nepal law

Additional Provisions

• If permanent staff are recruited for the above positions, the contract agreement will be automatically terminated.

• Service period will be as decided by the Municipal Executive.

Service Facilities

1. For Medical Officer: Monthly salary NPR 75,000/-

2. For Veterinary Technician and Agriculture Graduate Technician: As per the operation procedures/directives of the concerned authority

3. For AHW: Monthly salary NPR 32,900/-

4. For Municipal Police: Monthly salary NPR 21,000/-

1. Examination form fee: NPR 25/- (Forms available at the office or downloadable from www.gauradahamun.gov.np)

2. Preliminary shortlist evaluation will be as per Gauradaha Municipality’s Employee Management Procedures 2075.
