Gorkhapatra Sansthan Seeks Journalists and Staff on Contract Service
Gorkhapatra Sansthan, Dharmapath, Kathmandu, has invited applications for staff recruitment in various positions on contract service. As per the decision of the Board of Directors dated 2083 Asar 25, applications have been invited from eligible Nepali citizens in the prescribed manner. This notice was published in Gorkhapatra on 2083 Asar 26.
The final date for submitting applications for all positions has been set as 2083 Asar 30 within office hours. The selection process will consist of a written examination and interview.
The detailed information on the advertised positions, required numbers, fees, and minimum qualifications is as follows:

Position and Level: News Correspondent, Level 6 (Six)
Service and Group: Journalism / Nepali
Required Number: 1 (One)
Application Fee: Rs. 1,000/-
Minimum Educational Qualification/Experience: Passed the Bachelor’s level in Mass Communication and Journalism from a recognized educational institution, or passed the Bachelor’s level in any subject and obtained 5 (five) years of work experience in news collection and editing related to journalism from a recognized institution.
2. Advertisement No. (Contract) 2/082/83
Position and Level: Assistant News Correspondent, Level 5 (Five)
Service and Group: Journalism / Nepali
Required Number: 13 (Thirteen)
Application Fee: Rs. 700/-
Minimum Educational Qualification/Experience: Passed Secondary Education (S.L.C.E.) or equivalent in Mass Communication and Journalism from a recognized educational institution and obtained 3 (three) years of work experience in news collection and editing from a recognized institution.

Position and Level: Assistant News Correspondent, Level 5 (Five)
Service and Group: Journalism / English
Required Number: 8 (Eight)
Application Fee: Rs. 700/-
Minimum Educational Qualification/Experience: Passed Secondary Education (S.L.C.E.) or equivalent in Mass Communication and Journalism from a recognized educational institution and obtained 3 (three) years of work experience in news collection and editing from a recognized institution.
4. Advertisement No. (Contract) 4/082/83
Position and Level: Assistant Photographer, Level 5 (Five)
Service and Group: Journalism / Photography and Art
Required Number: 1 (One)
Application Fee: Rs. 700/-
Minimum Educational Qualification/Experience: Passed Secondary Education (S.L.C.E.) or equivalent from a recognized educational institution and received at least 3 (three) months of training in photography.
