Notice for Open/Inclusive Competitive Written Examination
As per the consent received from the Public Service Commission, applications are invited from eligible and interested Nepali citizens for permanent recruitment through competitive examination for the following vacant open and inclusive posts under the services and groups of the Institute.
Candidates who meet the prescribed minimum qualifications must apply through the Institute’s online application system at career.ican.org.np. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

In the special notice related to the advertisement, it is stated that, as per the mandamus order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court on 2079/10/24 in the writ petition related to certiorari, including Writ No. 078-WO-0660, recruitment will be carried out accordingly after legal provisions are made.
The type of service will be permanent. The type of examination will include written examination, computer skill test/practical, group study/presentation, and interview as prescribed in the syllabus of the concerned post. The examination center has been fixed in Kathmandu.
Candidates must upload the Marksheet/Transcript of the minimum educational qualification, character certificate, and citizenship certificate. In the case of advertisements under inclusive groups, documents verifying the inclusive group must be attached. If the educational qualification has been obtained from a country other than Nepal, an equivalence certificate issued by the concerned body must be submitted compulsorily.
For posts requiring experience, the appointment letter and an experience-related letter certified by the head of the office/institution where the candidate worked must be uploaded in the prescribed place. For posts requiring a Professional Membership Certificate, the same must also be submitted. The candidate shall be fully responsible for the details mentioned in the application.
The last date to submit the application is 2083/03/11. Applications may be submitted until 2083/03/18 by paying double the fee.
Regarding the age limit, by the last date of application submission, candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have exceeded 35 years for assistant-level posts, and must have completed 21 years and must not have exceeded 35 years for officer-level posts. In the case of women and candidates with disabilities, the age must not exceed 40 years. The age limit will not apply to permanent employees currently serving at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal.
The work to be performed in the post and the place of work shall be as prescribed under the management of the Institute. Appointed employees will be posted at the head office and branch offices outside the Valley as per the requirement of the Institute.
As per the process for paying the examination fee, after submitting the online application form, the examination fee must be paid through eSewa or Connect IPS. If the prescribed amount is not deposited, the online application form will be considered not duly submitted.
Regarding the period for paying the application fee, after submitting the application through the online system, the prescribed examination fee/double fee must be paid compulsorily through any one of the above-mentioned methods no later than the day after the final date for submitting the application with double fee.
Salary and service benefits will be as per the rules of the Institute. The written examination schedule will be as prescribed by the Public Service Commission.
The examination fee for each advertisement must be paid as follows. Candidates applying for additional advertisements under inclusive groups must pay an additional fee for each additional group.
Level 7: Rs. 1,200/- (One thousand two hundred)
Level 6: Rs. 1,000/- (One thousand)
Level 5: Rs. 700/- (Seven hundred)
Candidates wishing to apply for posts under inclusive groups must prepare and submit the following documents at the time of application. After being selected for interview from the result of the written examination, they must bring the originals of such documents along with self-attested copies (photocopies) when appearing for the interview.
In the case of Dalit candidates, documents must be submitted on the basis of the list for castes listed by the National Dalit Commission. However, if there is more than one surname within a caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, a document certified by the Chief District Officer, on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level, stating that the surname falls within the listed caste, will be required.
In the remarks, it is stated that the prescribed educational qualification must have been obtained within the last date of application submission; candidates who studied in foreign institutions must have obtained equivalence determination of their qualification from the concerned body; the period of double fee will not be counted for the purpose of age, educational qualification, experience period, and other qualifications; and applications that are not submitted within the prescribed deadline, do not meet the minimum qualification, do not mention other prescribed details, or do not pay the prescribed fee will not be approved.

Recruitment Through Internal Competitive Examination
As per the consent received from the Public Service Commission, the following vacant posts of the Institute are to be filled through internal competitive examination. Therefore, permanent employees who have completed the prescribed service period and obtained the minimum educational qualification as per Regulation 14.10 of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal Employee Service Conditions Regulations, 2066 (Third Amendment 2080), must fill in the prescribed form and submit the application with all required documents through the Institute’s online application system at career.ican.org.np by 2083/03/11.
This notice has been published for the information of the concerned potential candidates. No action will be taken on applications received after the deadline or not submitted duly.
