JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), is a health care consulting and research organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities in the U.S. and around the world. In Nepal, JSI has worked for 40 years, with a recent project focusing on strengthening health systems to increase access to lifesaving services and commodities that improve the health and nutrition of women and children.

JSI is implementing the Building Healthy Cities (BHC) project in Nepal which will be working in a special partnership with Kathmandu to support the rollout of their Kathmandu Valley Air Quality Action Plan (KVAP) at the municipality level. JSI/BHC is seeking application from qualified and result oriented Nepalese citizens for the following positions:

Job Vacancy Details:

1. Senior Project Officer

Required No.	1 (One)
Duty Station	Kathmandu
Required Qualification: Postgraduate degree in any of the following fields. Environmental Health, Urban Planning, Public Planning, Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, or related fields. Experience of working in air pollution/environmental health /urban development or related fields desirable. Strong networking skills with senior government officials, NGOs, and the private sector. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to make high-quality presentations to senior officials.

2. Project Associate

Required No.	1 (One)
Duty Station	Kathmandu
Required Qualification: College degree in any of the following fields: Public Health, Environmental Health, Urban Planning, Public Planning, Sociology, Social Work, or related fields. Experience of working in public health/ urban development/ air pollution/ environmental health or related fields desirable. Experience with media outlet connections, social media expertise, and/or graphic design highly desirable. Kathmandu
