Law Ministry Invites Applications to Prepare Language Translator Roster
Kathmandu. The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Singha Durbar, has invited applications to prepare a roster of qualified language translators for the fiscal year 2083/84. The Ministry issued a notice on Shrawan 20, 2083, seeking applications from interested individuals and institutions.
The Ministry stated that the roster is being prepared for the purposes of Rule 9 of the Mutual Legal Assistance Rules, 2079.
Language Translation Requirements
According to the notice, translators will be required to translate documents written in foreign languages other than English into Nepali and translate documents written in Nepali into other foreign languages. Translation from Nepali into English and from English into Nepali is excluded.
Application Process and Required Details
Eligible Applicants: Both individuals and institutions interested in providing translation services may apply.
Documents to Be Submitted: Applicants must clearly specify the language or languages they can translate and submit their personal details along with evidence confirming their proficiency or knowledge in the relevant language.
Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice.
