Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research, and Development (LI-BIRD) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization established in October 1995 with its Head Office in Pokhara. LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local initiatives for sustainable management of renewable natural resources and improving the livelihoods of rural people in Nepal.

Positions: Finance Associate (level-5) -1
(based at Head Office with frequent movement to different sites)
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Account Officer, the Finance Associate is primarily responsible for providing support for financial management. The Finance Associate shall be responsible for preparing draft financial statements for review. The Finance Associate shall be responsible for managing accounting records, proceeding with transactions and analyzing financial data, and providing input so as to make effective financial planning, monitoring, and reporting to enhance the decision-making process by the management team and improve the quality of programme delivery.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in management with three years experience in the relevant field, especially in management and accounting.
