Lok Sewa Aayog Upa Sachiv Post (Foreign Service) Application Process Resume
Public Service Commission (Information and Publication Branch), Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, Notification Regarding Reactivation of Promotion Notice and Internal/ Open Competitive Examination for the Post of Under Secretary or Equivalent, Gazetted Second Class, Nepal Foreign Service.
The Public Service Commission published a promotion notice and a call for applications for internal competition and open competitive examination for Under Secretary or equivalent, Gazetted Second Class, Nepal Foreign Service, on 2081/06/30.
Following the Honorable Supreme Court order dated 2081/07/07, the Commission decided on 2081/07/13 to suspend these activities.
However, according to a letter from the Honorable Supreme Court, Issue and Writ Division, dated 2082/01/08, regarding case number 081-WO-0453 (currently 081-WF-0012), it has been stated that the full bench of the Supreme Court dismissed the related case on 2082/01/04.
The full text of the decision is being prepared.
In compliance with the Honorable Court's directive, the Commission has decided on 2082/01/15 to resume the previously suspended promotion notices and advertisements as detailed below.
This notification is published for the information of all concerned.
1. Application Periods for Internal Competition and Open/Inclusive Advertisements

The application period originally ran from 2081/06/30 to 2081/07/20.

Due to suspension on 2081/07/13, eight days remained, plus an additional seven days for double fee submission.

Therefore, a total of 15 days remain for application submission.
For promotion notices:

Applications could be submitted from 2081/06/30 to 2081/08/04.

A remaining period of 22 days is available.

2. Applications Already Submitted
Applications submitted during the previous period will remain valid.
3. Eligibility and Conditions
The educational qualifications, experience, service period, application submission locations, and procedures shall remain the same as those published in the advertisement notice numbers 406/081-82, 407/081-82, and 408/081-82 dated 2081/06/30.
