1. Assistant Professor Vacancies and Minimum Qualifications

Maharajgunj Medical Campus has announced Assistant Professor vacancies in various medical and allied health specialties.

The required number of positions and minimum educational qualifications are listed below.

1. Nephrology

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a DM in Nephrology or MD in Nephrology and be registered with the relevant professional council.

2. Anesthesiology (Cardiothoracic and Vascular)

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology and be registered with the relevant professional council.

3. Neurology

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine and a DM in Neurology and be registered with the relevant professional council.

4. Anesthesiology

• Required Number: 2

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology and be registered with the relevant professional council.

5. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed an MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and be registered with the relevant professional council.

6. Orthopedics (Spine)

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Orthopedics, be registered with the relevant professional council, and have completed a fellowship of at least one year in Spine Surgery from a recognized educational institution.

7. Orthopedics (Pediatric)

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Orthopedics, be registered with the relevant professional council, and have completed a fellowship of at least one year in Pediatric Orthopedics from a recognized educational institution.

8. Pathology

9. Ophthalmology

11. Obstetrics and Gynecology

13. Radiology (Body Imaging)

16. Forensic Medicine

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed an MBBS degree and a postgraduate degree in Forensic Medicine and be registered with the relevant professional council.

17. Clinical Psychology

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed an MPhil in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the relevant professional council.

18. Pediatrics

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Pediatrics and be registered with the relevant professional council.

19. Pediatric Hemato-Oncology

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Pediatrics, be registered with the relevant professional council, and have completed a one-year fellowship or training in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology.

20. Gastroenterology

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine or an equivalent qualification, followed by a DM in Gastroenterology, and be registered with the relevant professional council.

21. Emergency Medicine

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a DM in Emergency Medicine or MD in Emergency Medicine and be registered with the relevant professional council.

22. Critical Care Medicine

• Required Number: 2

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a DM in Critical Care Medicine or an equivalent qualification and be registered with the relevant professional council.

23. Plastic Surgery

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in General Surgery or an equivalent qualification and be registered with the relevant professional council.

24. Internal Medicine

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine, have two years of work experience at a recognized institution, and be registered with the relevant professional council.

25. Internal Medicine (Medical Oncology)

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine and either:

  • Completed a DM in Medical Oncology; or

  • Completed a clinical fellowship of at least two years in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.

Candidates must also be registered with the relevant professional council.

2. Officer Vacancies and Minimum Qualifications

In addition to the Assistant Professor positions, Maharajgunj Medical Campus has announced vacancies for the following administrative and technical positions.

1. Public Health Officer

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a bachelor's degree in Public Health and have at least one year of work experience in research or data management.

2. Information Technology Officer

• Required Number: 1

• Minimum Qualification: Must have completed at least one of the following degrees or an equivalent qualification:

  • B.Sc. CSIT

  • B.Sc. IT

  • BIT

  • BCA

  • BIM

Candidates must also have at least one year of work experience in the field of Information Technology.
