Nabil Bank is the market leader in the Nepali financial sector. We are looking for highly talented, motivated, result-oriented and qualified Nepali citizens to shoulder the responsibility of the Legal Department for accomplishing the following major responsibilities:

Conduct comparative legal analysis on a range of issues related to the operation of banking business, identify legal and policy issues, and propose appropriate solutions fr Provide legal support to ongoing projects, transactions, court cases, and other matters. 'fr Provide legal advice to branch/unit on legal issues
Draft, review, negotiate and finalize legal documents for Operations, Credit /Lending activities, Finance, Human resources, Administration, and other matters or practice areas.
Advice the concerned unit of the Bank on regulatory and corporate legal compliance.
Coordination with external legal counsel on litigation matters related to the Bank.
Represent the Bank in various Courts, tribunals, or any other authorities.
Any other assignments related to Legal issues

Education	LLM or equivalent with minimum Second Division. Preference will be given to Commercial Law
Experience	10 years experience in the legal field with min 5 years' experience in Banking at a Manager Level. Preference will be given to the candidate having exposure to Company Secretary's role
Core Competencies: Sound knowledge of Commercial Banking Proven track record of representing the bank in the court Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents Sound knowledge in Commercial Law, BAFIA, Nepal Rastra Bank Ad, Arbitration Law, & other relevant Acts and Laws. Leadership skill Excellent command of Nepali and English language

Age	Not exceeding 40 years as of 15 July 2021
Education	LLB or equivalent with minimum second division.
Experience	7 years experience in the legal field with min 3 years experience in Banking at Officer/Manager level
Core Competencies: Core Banking Knowledge fr Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents Sound knowledge in Commercial Law, BAFIA, Nepal Rastra Bank Ad & other acts. Good computer literacy. Command in Nepali and English language
