Nepal Hydro & Electric Limited (NHE) is leading Company involved in Hydro and Electromechanical equipment including fly substations, manufacturing and installation & repair for hydro & electric sector. NHE is seeking self-confident, dynamic and result oriented individual for the following positions:

Position: Senior Manager - Technical 

No. of Post: 1 (One)

Level: XII (Twelve)

Duty Station: Butwal

Job Purpose: To manage, plan and direct overall policies and activities of the Company and to ensure operational efficiency of Technical divisions which ultimately help in attaining the goals of maximum growth of the company

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

  • To fulfill the engineering requirements of the technical divisions in an efficiently/effectively manner
  • To develop new products and put an effort into improving the existing products and
  • To promote/manage sales of Company products & services

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering(preferred Master's degree)  with minimum 10-15 years' experience in the relevant field

Position: Marketing Manager    

No. of Post: 1 (One)

Level: XI (Eleven)    

Duty Station: Butwal

Job Purpose: To support marketing division in investigating markets, marketing products/services of company and preparation of proper bid documents so that the company goal is achieve

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

I. To bring appropriate jobs and services by marketing products and services of company 2. To investigate competitors and analyze market competition

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor degree in Engineering either in Mechanical or in Electrical from a recognized Institute/University with 8-10 years' experience in marketing

(Candidates having experience in hydro plant marketing is preferred)

Position: Procurement Manager          

No. of Post: I (One)

Level: XI (Eleven)  

Duty Station: Butwal

Job Purpose:

I. To create a "transparent" procurement system which provides NHE with the most appropriate purchases for its needs

2. To provide NHE staff with current information on supply and availability using the most up-to-date technology

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

1.      Supervise the staff and work of the Procurement Section

2.      Manage the NHE procurement system by maintaining proper records of the Company

3.      Provide information to purchasers about the options; price, availability, and specification of the items

4.      Establish good working relationships with suppliers

5.      Be involved in the tendering processes for electrical/mechanical bid

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from recognized university/institute with 8-10 years' relevant work experience in procurement of Mechanical/Electrical goods.

Position: Electrical Engineer - Marketing         

No. of Post: 1 (one)

Level: IX (Nine)       

Duty Station: Butwal

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

  • Assist the marketing division in quotation and tender related activities.
  • Be responsible for marketing activities of the electrical division.
  • Carried out other duties of electrical division.

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with 2-5 years' experience in the relevant field

Position: Human Resource Officer       

No. of Post: 1 (One)

Level:  IX/X (Nine/Ten)       

Duty Station: Butwal

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

  • Support in the recruitment process; maintain employee's database
  • Support in legal matters of the company
  • Be responsible for updating employees leave, overtime, attendance and insurance records

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor in Human Resource/Law with 5-10 years' experience Or  MBS / MBA with minimum 5 years' experience in relevant field. Good Computer skills and fluent in English Knowledge in HR related activities, excel / HRMIS software Knowledge and Experience of new labor act and legal matter related to HR is preferred. Military retired personnel with knowledge in Legal matters can also apply.

Type of employment: On contract basis with the possibility of being regular based on performance

Salary and other benefits: As per Company rule. However, for the position of Senior Manager - Technical, salary is negotiable
