1. News Producers - 2
Responsibilities
- Gather information, stories, and pieces from team members throughout the day.
- Collaborate with news director to select and prioritize content
- Add stories and elements that will make the broadcast more attractive
- Select footage and sound bites to include in the broadcast to ensure consistency
- Liaise with the production team to keep technical standards high
- Communicate with the studio crew and anchors while on•air
- Ensure broadcast is within time limits
- Produce breaking news reports
- Coordinate with the creative department to develop promotion strategies for upcoming newscasts
- Perform research on local, national, and International affairs to stay updated with current events
- Ensure production runs on time and on budget
- Write the scripts or cross-verify scripts for news presenters
- Coordinate live shoot
- Organize the shows and able to edit videos and vice-over
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a news producer
- Degree in journalism, mass communications, or relevant field
- In-depth understanding of the production process
- Solid experience with digital technology
- Familiarity with camera operation, sound systems, and music editing
- Ability to proofread and edit pieces
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure
- Communication skills
2. Online Reporters - 4
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering updates and analysis on current happening with the main goal to keep public/ audience updated
- Keep up with all the local and global happening
- Cover a wide variety of stories
- Conduct and schedule interviews
- Track influencers' work
- Plan, edit, and write stories and articles
- Verify the information provided by the Interviewees
- Finalize news content
- Keep up with deadlines as timeliness Is extremely important
- Follow news events and media sources to stay informed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Journalism or relevant field with min 2 years of experience as an online Reporter or similar role
- Passion for writing and creating interesting stories
- Technically skilled with Strong knowledge of media processes
- Excellent communication and research skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- A good Team player with time management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of both (Nepali & English) language
