
Notice for Application: Chairperson and Expert Member Appointment at National Cooperative Regulatory Authority
Application Call from the Committee Formed for Recommendation of Chairperson and Expert Member at the National Cooperative Regulatory Authority.
In accordance with Section 103(ga) of the Cooperative Act, 2074, the Government of Nepal is required to recommend appointments for the positions of Chairperson and Expert Member at the National Cooperative Regulatory Authority. Therefore, eligible Nepali citizens are invited to apply under the criteria set forth in the Cooperative Act, 2074 and the “Standards for Recommendation of Chairperson and Expert Member of the National Cooperative Regulatory Authority, 2082”.
Qualifications and Experience for Chairperson and Expert Member Positions

As per Section 103(g)(1)(a) of the Act, for Chairperson: Must hold a postgraduate degree in economics, commerce, management, accounting, law, or cooperative studies, and either have served in a special gazetted post of the Government of Nepal or equivalent, or have at least fifteen years of experience in international/national banks, financial institutions, or cooperatives.

As per Section 103(g)(1)(gha) of the Act, for Expert Member: Must hold a postgraduate degree in economics, commerce, management, accounting, law, or cooperative studies, and have at least ten years of experience in international/national banks, financial institutions, or cooperatives.

As per Section 103(ga)(2)(g) of the Act, applicants must not have reached 60 years of age.
Required Documents to be Submitted with the Application
Applicants must include self-attested copies of the following documents as per Schedule-1 of the Standards:

Completed application form with required details

Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate

Copy of academic certificates showing minimum educational qualification (If foreign degree, include equivalency certificate)

Institution-verified documents clearly stating over one year of work experience in the related field

Personal details including contact information

Proof that the applicant has not reached 60 years of age as of the application deadline

Two recent passport-size photographs

Copies of any other relevant documents related to the applied post

Self-declaration as per Schedule-2

Receipt of application fee payment
Submission of Professional Business Plan
Applicants must also submit three copies of a professional business plan containing the following:

Should be between 3,000 to 5,000 words

Typed in Nepali or English on A4 size paper

The first page must follow the format in Schedule-3

One of the three copies must be signed on every page by the applicant; the other two must have no identifying information

The business plan must be sealed in an envelope
-
Submit both hard and soft copies in a sealed envelope separately
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted within 15 working days from the date of this notice (by 2082/02/25). If the final day is a public holiday, applications will be accepted on the next working day.

Application Fee
Applicants must pay a fee of NPR 5,000/- to the income account (A/C No. 1140100102100201, Account No. 2.10) of the National Cooperative Regulatory Authority at Rastriya Banijya Bank.
