Padhnako Lagi Kotha (PLK), the sole official Implementing Partner of Room to Read (RtR), was established in 2002 with a mission to provide better educational opportunities in Government funded community schools of Nepal by focusing on Literacy and Gender Equality in Education. PLK invites applications from interested Nepali citizens for the following position:
1. Assistant, Administration (Warehouse)- Kathmandu
Based: 1 position
The Assistant, Administration (Warehouse) will provide general help as and when required by members of PLK/Room to Read (RtR) Nepal in working with warehouse management particularly in the arrangement of books in a proper way, collecting books from the distributor and dispatching the books to its intended recipients. This position will also be responsible to keep the warehouse records and inventory updated on software and/or In hard copies. This position will require travel within Kathmandu Valley and surroundings and occasional field visits.
The key selection criteria are:
- Minimum Ten plus 2 completed. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strictly adhere and comply with Room to Read's Child Protection Policy and Child Protection Code of Conduct.
- 2 years of experience in Warehouse Management is preferred.
- Basic Computer skills in Word and Excel.
- Having a valid Motorbike Driving License.
- Individuals trained in Inventory Management are preferred.
