Padhnako Lagi Kotha (PLK), the sole official Implementing Partner of Room to Read (RtR), was established in 2002 with a mission to provide better educational opportunities in Government funded community schools of Nepal by focusing on literacy and Gender Equality in Education.
PLK invites applications from interested Nepali citizens for the following positions:
1. Officer, Information Technology (IT)
Location: Kathmandu based
Required No.: 1 position
The Officer, IT will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT, including planning, implementing, monitoring, and quality assurance of IT policy and equipment in the Kathmandu office and district offices. The Officer Will be constantly engaged in collaboration with the Head of Operations and Administration department to improve and deliver quality IT services.
The key selection criteria are:
- Bachelors Degrees (Master preferred) in information technology, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- A minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in IT and Database with I/NGOs or private sectors
- Must possess expert skills in office365 administration
- Knowledge of POP, SMTP, DNS (and DDNS), DHCP
- Able to configure, monitor, and manage firewalls including Cisco and Sophos
