Plan International Nepal Job Vacancy

Plan International Nepal invites the applications from all candidates with priority from females, minority and youth groups for the following positions:

1. Policy Influencing Manager-1 Position

Fixed-Term Employment for 2 years based in Country Office, Lalitpur

The position holder will play a key role in shaping and driving advocacy strategies and support program teams to scale our impact and contribute to policy development/ implementation. The position will strengthen and build strategic partnerships to advance influencing priorities and play a key role in taking Plan International work in external forums. S/he will be working closely with the Director to deliver on policy goals by connecting local, regional and national, influencing efforts. H/She practices feminist leadership, promote diversity, actively seek innovative solutions for problems, courageously and respectfully share their opinions and ideas, break down barriers and engender cross-department collaboration, practice active listening, maintain confidentiality, build trust and are passionate about children's rights and equality for girls.

2. External Relations Specialist -1 Position

Fixed-Term Employment for 2 years based in Country Office, Lalitpur

The position holder will ensure that all activities that Plan International Nepal implements meet the requirements of the Government of Nepal, at all levels. S/He will be responsible for good maintaining good working relationship primarily, with Social Welfare Council (SWC), relevant government ministries/departments and organisations/networks that share common agenda for change in the lives children and adolescence girls in Nepal. The position will also support Program and Operation teams to ensure that the functioning of the organization in compliance with SWC and other government requirements.

3. Sponsorship Communication Administrator-1 Position

Fixed-Term Employment for 2 years based in Regional Office East, Dhanusha

The position holder ensures system related compliances based in partner NGO office with the key responsibility of operating Child Data ensuring Data Protection and Privacy Policy in close coordination with partner NGO. The position holder is responsible for overseeing daily work of encoders, coaching them and updating them on changes. She/he is responsible for timely communication between sponsored children and sponsors. S/he is also responsibility quality assurance of all sponsorship communication documents in terms of adherence to Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy in all incoming and outgoing sponsorship communication documents. The position holder also plays a vital role in all business rules and meeting KPIs by providing necessary information to partner organization on time. S/he ensures proper management of both hard-copy and soft copy sponsorship documents, including photographs, accordance with sponsorship compliances.

4. Project Coordinator -Resilience-1 Position (Re-advertisement)

Fixed-Term Employment until June 2024 based in Sindhuli under Regional Office East

This position holder is responsible to oversee and ensure a high quality project delivery/ implementation of project entitle "Gender Responsive School and Community Safety Initiatives" under the direct supervision of Program Specialist and matrix reporting in Country Office. The project will be implemented by Plan International Nepal in collaboration with Plan International Bangladesh and Plan International Asia Pacific Regional Office (Plan APAC), along with their local partners Plan International Nepal will implement the Gender Responsive School and Community Safety Initiatives in selected schools and its surrounding communities of selected rural/municipalities of Sindhuli district funded by Plan International Japan Office (JNO). The project aims to achieve a gender transformative, safer education and learning environment both at school and community levels that responds to and prepares for multi-hazards risks. Program Coordinator is also responsible for management of other disaster management, humanitarian response, recovery projects under East Regional Office (ERO) to achieve the set targets of individual projects within short interval of time.

5. Finance Coordinator -1 Position

Fixed-Term Employment for 2 years based in Country Office, Lalitpur

The position holder will be responsible for the effective grant project finance management to ensure that Grant activities implemented are at the best quality with the most competitive costs and they respond to CO, NO and GH Policies and procedures incompliance with donor's condonation is financial management. Position is based on country office incompliance with Donor's conditions including plan international Operational manual, internal control system and relevant global policies and procedure for financial management.
