Plan International Job Vacancies in Nepal for Program Specialist, Finance Coordinator, and Project Specialist-Shikshya

Plan International, a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting children's rights and gender equality for girls, is seeking qualified applicants for various positions in Nepal. With over 85 years of experience in over 70 countries, Plan International has been active in Nepal since 1978. The organization is looking for motivated candidates from minority, youth, and female groups to apply for the following positions:

1. Program Specialist:

This is a fixed-term position for two years based in Surkhet, open only to female applicants. The Program Specialist will oversee and ensure high-quality project implementation in both development and humanitarian settings. The candidate will be responsible for achieving Plan's requirements through overall management of implementing partners in the respective areas. Additionally, the Program Specialist will represent Plan in various forums in the respective sector/s, including in government and other stakeholders.

2. Finance Coordinator:

This is a fixed-term position until June 30, 2024, based in Kalikot, open only to female applicants. The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring effective project finance management and project activities are implemented at the best quality with the most competitive costs. The candidate will need to comply with Country Office, National Office, and Global policies and procedures as well as donor regulations. The position is based in Kalikot under Regional Office-West.

3. Project Specialist-Shikshya:

This is a fixed-term position until February 2026 based in Dhanusha, open to all applicants. The Project Specialist-Shikshya will oversee and ensure a high-quality project delivery/implementation of Promoting gender equality through education (Shikshya) project in Dhanusha and achieve the project targets set. The candidate will be responsible for overall project cycle management and support Project Manager, planning, budgeting, capacity building, documentation, reporting, quality assurance, and partnership management.
