PSC Advertises Pre-Qualification Examinations for Non-Technical Assistant-Level Posts in Organized Institutions
The Public Service Commission, Central Office, Kamalpokhari (Information and Publication Section), has published an advertisement for open competitive pre-qualification examinations for the non-technical posts of Assistant Level First Class (Nayab Subba or equivalent) and Assistant Level Second Class (Kharidar or equivalent) in organized institutions. The Commission published the advertisement through Notice No. 38/083–84 on 2083/04/06 BS.
Interested candidates who meet the required qualifications must apply through the Commission’s online application system at psconline1.psc.gov.np.

Minimum Educational Qualifications
Assistant Level First Class—Fifth Level or Equivalent
Candidates must have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level, 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution.
Assistant Level Second Class—Fourth Level or Equivalent
Candidates must have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or an equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
Note: In the case of candidates who passed the SLC or an equivalent examination after the grading system was introduced, only those who obtained a grade point of GPA 2 or above will be considered to have met the minimum qualification.
Age Limit
As of the regular application deadline of 2083/04/26 BS, candidates must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years.
Women and candidates with disabilities must not have exceeded 40 years of age.
The age limit will not apply to permanent employees currently serving in any organized institution. However, when an advertisement for the main examination is published, the age limit will apply to everyone except employees serving in the concerned organized institution at that time.

Final fee payment deadline: The prescribed regular or double examination fee must be paid no later than 2083/05/03 BS.
Fee Payment Method
Candidates may pay the fee directly through the online system using an electronic payment method.
Alternatively, they may print the bank voucher containing their Master ID and transaction reference number and pay the fee in cash through one of the designated banks.

Candidates have been advised to select their examination centre carefully before submitting the application, as the selected centre cannot be changed afterward.
Other Important Information
Document Upload
Educational qualification documents must be uploaded in PDF format. The front and back sides of the citizenship certificate must be uploaded in JPG format.
Master ID
Candidates who have already created a personal profile in the online system and obtained a Master ID must use the same Master ID when submitting their application.
Validity of the Pre-Qualification Certificate
Only candidates who pass the pre-qualification examination and receive a certificate may use that certificate to apply for advertisements published by organized institutions within one year from the certificate’s date of issue.
Fourth-Level Candidates
Candidates who pass the Fourth-Level pre-qualification examination may apply for Fourth-Level non-technical posts if they wish.
Examination Rules
OMR answer sheets will be used in the pre-qualification examination.
Candidates must use black ink only during the examination. Answer sheets completed using any other ink will be cancelled.
Scribe Facility
Candidates requiring a scribe must contact the concerned office at least 10 days before the written examination begins.
