SLBSL registered as a public company in 2017 and received an operating license from the central bank as a "D" class national level financial institution in 2017 to operate under Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2017. SLBSL's head office is located at Bandipur - 1, Dumre, Tanahu, Nepal.
