Position

Brief Description

1. Project Manager — MCGL

Required No. (s): 1

Term & Locate: Fixed-term based in Country Office. Kathmandu

Responsible for managing the overall USAID-funded MCGL (Momentum Country and Global Leadership) project which includes components of Small Sick Newborns (SSNB), Quality of Care (QoC), lntrapartum Nutrition Assessment. Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR): closely coordinates with the Government. Family Welfare Division and other line agencies supporting maternal and newborn health technical inputs in implementing, monitoring, and revising activities and budget of the project

Eligibility: Master of Public Health (MPH). Medical Degree or Nurse midwife (Neonatal clinical degree will be an advantage) and with minimum 7 years (S years for GSI group) of progressive work experience in leading and managing health projects at INGO/BilateralThululateral agencies

2. Project Coordinator - SSNB, QoC, MCGL

Required No: 1

Term & Location: Fixed term; based in Family Welfare Division, Teku

Responsible for providing implementation support for the small sick newborn (SSNB) component of the Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) project responsible to support the project team to strengthen the country's capacity to operationalize and deliver comprehensive services for small sick newborn

Eligibility: MPH with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI group') progressive work experience in health projects at INGO/Bilateral/Multilateral agencies

3. Project Coordinator - MPDSR, MCGL

Required No. (s): 2

Term & Location: Fixed term: based in Province 1 and Province 2

Responsible for implementing all activities related to Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) of the MCGL project in Province: responsible to establish a system of continuous surveillance that promotes routine identification and notification of maternal and perinatal deaths: will help establish the quantcation and determination of the causes and the ways to avoid maternal and perinatal deaths and thus provide better information for action

Eligibility: MPH with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI group progressive work experience in health projects at INGO/BiloteraUMultiloteral agencies

4. Senior Documentation and M&E Coordinator - MCGL

Required No.'s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed term: based in Country Office, Kathmandu

Responsible to carry out documentation and M&E activities to the MCGL project in the country: will be expected to lead the M&E analysis of the data collected in all components of MCGL including developing the MCGL MEL plan and learning agenda with support from MCGL manager and Sr Manager H&N

Eligibility: MPH with minimum 5 years (3 years for GSI group") progressive work experience in health projects in M&E.at INGO/Bilateral/Multilateral agencies

*GSI Group Include Female, Dalit, Madheshi People living with disabilities and other indigenous /minorities
