School of Development and Social Engineering, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Pokhara University invites the applications from dynamic and qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer in the following subjects of Master of Development Studies (MDEVS), Bachelor of English and Communication Studies (BECS) and Bachelor of Development Studies (BDEVS) programs:
1. Lecturer - Human Rights and Social Justice
- Stream: BDEVS
- Credit hours/Nature of appointment: 6 Credit Hrs (Course contract) - Lecturer
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Rights and Social Justice or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent.
2. Lecturer -Development Policies and Programs
- Stream: BDEVS
- Credit hours/Nature of appointment: 3 Credit Hrs (Course contract)
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Development Policies and Programs or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent.
3. Lecturer - Cultural Anthropology
- Stream: BECS
- Credit hours/Nature of appointment: 3 Credit Hrs (Course contract)
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent.
4. Lecturer - Social Engineering in Development
- Stream: MDEVS
- Credit hours/Nature of appointment: 3 Credit Hrs (Course contract)
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Sociology or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent.
5. Lecturer -Societal Transformation and Inclusive Development
- Stream: MDEVS
- Credit hours/Nature of appointment: 3 Credit Hrs (Course contract)
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Societal Transformation and Inclusive Development or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent.
Interested candidates are required to submit an application along with curriculum vitae, one recent passport size photograph, self-attested testimonials (transcript/mark sheets of SLC onwards), work experience certificates, copy of citizenship certificate and other related documents to the Office of the Director, School of Development and Social Engineering, Pokhara University on or before December 8, 2021.
Experienced and highly qualified candidates will be given preference.
