Applications Invited for Promotion to Fifth-Level Technical Posts in Sudurpashchim Province

The Province Public Service Commission, Sudurpashchim Province, Dhangadhi, Kailali (Administration, Planning and Information Publication Branch), has published a notice inviting applications for promotion to fifth-level technical posts in the Provincial Civil Service.
Applications have been invited from eligible potential candidates because the posts are to be filled through promotion based on seniority and work performance evaluation, as well as work efficiency evaluation, in accordance with Sections 32, 37, and 37A of the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Act, 2079.
Eligible potential candidates must submit applications by 2083.01.02, clearly mentioning the details stated in the prescribed application form. The calculation of seniority shall be made in accordance with Sections 34, 37, and 37A of the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Act, 2079.
The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Province Public Service Commission at https://psc.sudurpashchim.gov.np.
Candidates concerned must clearly fill out one copy of the application form and submit it to the Commission’s office within the deadline. Applications received will be sent in a consolidated manner to the secretariat of the concerned promotion committee according to the promotion notice number.
Important Matters to Be Followed While Applying
The notice mentions 8 compulsory matters that candidates must pay attention to while applying:

Candidates must not be disqualified for promotion under Section 17 and Section 30 of the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Act, 2079.

While filling out the application form, candidates must compulsorily mention the code number received from the Civil Service Records Office or the Provincial Civil Service Records Office.

In the case of educational qualifications requiring equivalency determination, a certified copy of the equivalency certificate must compulsorily be submitted.

All details mentioned in the columns of the application form must be clearly disclosed. For evaluation purposes, candidates must submit the name of the office where the work performance evaluation forms for the last three years were submitted, details of any study leave and training undertaken at the current level, details of any absence without leave, and the letter regarding adjustment at the Sudurpashchim Province level.

The basis for promotion through seniority and work performance evaluation shall be in accordance with Sections 37 and 37A of the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Act, 2079, and the basis for promotion through work efficiency evaluation shall be in accordance with Section 32 of the same Act.

The minimum service period and educational qualification required for promotion must be in accordance with Section 21 of the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Act, 2079.

Other arrangements related to promotion shall be in accordance with the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Act, 2079 and the Sudurpashchim Province Civil Service Regulations, 2081.

Candidates applying for health service posts must compulsorily be registered with the professional council related to their service and group, and their registration must remain valid.

The application fee for fifth-level posts has been fixed at Rs. 400 (four hundred rupees).

The application fee can be deposited into account no. 1000100200010000 of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited.
Online Revenue Payment Option
Alternatively, applicants may log in to the portal at https://revenue.fcgo.gov.np/ and, in accordance with the instructions provided, deposit the application fee under the office code 2100077017 of the Province Public Service Commission, Sudurpashchim Province, and revenue heading no. 14224, and submit the application along with a copy of the voucher confirming deposit of the amount.
