The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal Vacancy for Finance Advisor and Cluster Doctor:
The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal is the field arm of Gurkha Welfare Trust UK, a registered charitable Trust working particularly for the Ex-Gurkha Veterans and their communities across Nepal. We invite applications from all interested and qualified candidates for the below positions:
1. Finance Advisor based at Headquarter, Pokhara: 1 Position
Key Roles and Responsibilities: The position holder be responsible for the effective management of the GWT(N)'s financial operations, policies, procedures, and regulatory instructions including preparation of statutory accounts to audit; ensuring compliance with GWT and external regulatory bodies, and also act as the GWT(N) financial expert on matters related to financial operations, budget, and strategy.
Qualifications and Experiences: Must have a Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, Certified Accounting Course or internationally recognized Chartered Accountant, with a minimum of 5 years of similar work experience.
2. Cluster Doctor based at Area Welfare Center, Dharan: 1 Position
Key Roles and Responsibilities: The position holder will be responsible to provide primary care consultations for the beneficiaries of GWT(N) in conjunction with the Cluster Medical Lead (CML) and the AWC GP doctor, working alongside them, and supporting and sharing the workload in a coordinated manner.
Qualifications and Experiences: Must have qualified as a Medical Doctor (MBBS) and current unrestricted registration with Nepal Medical Council (NMC) with at least 2 years work experience post MBBS graduation.
