The Soaltee Kathmandu is a Luxurious Five Star Leading Hotel in Nepal, Owned and Operated by Soaltee Hotel Limited a listed public Limited Company, pioneering in the hospitality Industries of Soaltee Nepal Since 1966.

1. Position: Meeting and Events Manager (MEM)

Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field.

Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing/Events Management in 5 Star Hotel or in similar industry.

Key Knowledge and Abilities

  • Assists in execution of event management strategy that is aligned with the company's business strategy and leads its execution.
  • Creates opportunities to upsell hotel product during meetings with event planer or client.
  • Assist and execute all property events with a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales where appropriate.
  • Conducts daily walk-through of banquet floor to help ensure client satisfaction and quality standards are maintained as per the standard.

2. Position: Sales Manager

Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field.

Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in a 5 Star Hotel or in similar industry.

Key Knowledge and Abilities

  • Candidate should have pleasing personality with good communication skills in English.
  • Sells hotel products and services to new, existing, and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.
  • Maintains excellent professional relationship with all business clients, monitors competitor activities, and assists in marketing intelligence.
  • Candidates with competent local market knowledge will be given priority.
  • Actively participates in sales activities with other sales team members to acquire new business and supports the operational aspects of business
  • Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated accordingly.

3. Position: IT Executive/Officer

Education: Graduate from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or in related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of IT supports duties with proficiency in windows operating system. Good working knowledge of MS office Suite, Websites, DND and CISCO Networks.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • To ensure that the Hotel's computer systems are efficiently run and maintained with the security network not compromised and that the network traffic is efficient.
  • Responsible for the 1st level of support of Hardware and Software related calls to the operational users. Attend IT support calls from users and log each call individually with a detailed description.
  • To monitor and report on operational IT problems and carry out tests on software implementations, updates software patches, and install anti-virus systems to protect the systems.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive recording of Incidents to identify efficiently the cause of the Incidents and trends.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Inventory of Hardware and Software Licenses and keep it up to date with the changes that take place as and when.
  • Implementation experience in Wi-Fi systems, property management systems, purchasing systems, and point-of-sale systems.

4. Position: Housekeeping Executive

Education: Graduate from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, or in related field.

Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in 4 or 5 star hotels in Housekeeping Department. Candidate with International chain hotel's experience will be given priority.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Responsible to supporting daily housekeeping operation including inspect guest rooms, public areas, Pool and Garden.
  • Ensure quality standards are met as per the company standards.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk. prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments in the hotel.
