Nepal Eye Program, Tilgaga Institute of Ophthalmology (NEP/ TIO). a center of excellence in comprehensive eye care service delivery including academy &training: research: intraocular lens manufacturing facility; community programs and eye bank is currently looking for qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following position on the time-bound basis which is renewable thereafter subject to satisfactory performance.

Senior Manager - Human Resources-1

The Senior Manager Human Resource is a management role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer who will be responsible for leading and managing. the human fractures function including but not [United to maintaining. developing and monitoring It strategy. policies, procedures; contributing at both strategic and operational level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate HR management solutions; overseeing the payroll process; managing the human resources administration of hiring, retention, training, personnel records, performance appraisals. compensation and benefits, legal compliance of personnel rules and regulations for the organization.

Required Qualification and Competencies:

  • Master degree in related field from a recognized university and legal education is an advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in Human Resource Management at the managerial role.
  • Preference of HR management in hospital/ medical/ NGO/ corporate and or industry field.
  • In-depth knowledge about labor law/ regulations of the Government of Nepal and HR best practices.
  • Experience in organizational development and change management.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human n_Nourees issues: contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  2. Coordination with all department heads and other related resources requirements of the organization and developing and submitting HRD plans and programs for necessary approval.
  3. Budgeting: Develop, monitor and update the annual budget for human resources to ensure the sound management of the organization's HR and that the function has all the rsources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.
  4. Install a human capital development and coaching (by orienting, training. counseling and disciplining staffs) culture within the organization.
  5. Ensure all functional aspects of UR administration i.e. payroll execution and compensation are met. Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys of peer organizations as and when required.
  6. Ensure the required legal compliance on all statutory matters related to employees. Creating positive external relationships with a view to further benefits to the
  7. Review and formulate organization chart, employee job description and other Hit regulations consulting with I .ine Manager and concerned stakeholders.
  8. Leads by example in the positive implementation of I IR initiatives and organization long term vision and mission.
