With the aim of creating employment opportunities at the local level through the development, expansion, and promotion of the tourism business and to develop Lumbini Province as an attractive tourist destination and introduce it to the national and international world, the Government of Lumbini Province has formed and put into operation the Tourism Development Council.
As per the approved vacancy for the office of the council, the appointment is to be made in the staff contract as per the schedule until the end of Ashad 2080. 1. Information Technology Officer (6th Level) - 1 (one)
2. Tourism Information Officer (Fifth Level) - 6 (Six)
Minimum educational qualification required
1) Information Technology Officer (IT Officer): Must have passed graduation from a recognized educational institution (BE in Computer, BIT, BIM, BCA, BEIT, BSc IT, BSc CSIT) or equivalent subject. After obtaining the minimum educational qualification, they should have at least 2 years of work experience and training in related subjects.
Age: Must have completed 18 years and not exceeding 40 years.
2) Tourism Information Officer: Graduated from a recognized educational institution in Tourism, English, Management, or similar subjects and should be able to speak English well. After obtaining the minimum educational qualification, at least 1 year of work experience and training in related subjects should be required.
Age: Completed 18 years and not exceeding 40 years.
