Mandwi

Mandwi is a not profit making national NGO implementing Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) funded Flood Recovery Program. The project is being implemented in Rauthat districts of Province No-2. Mandwi is looking for qualified and experienced Nepali citizens for the following Positions: 

Program coordinator Position 1 (Based in Rauthat):

  • Bachelor having ten years' experience in or Master having 5 years of experience in senior level management of NGO/INGO. Program Coordinator is responsible for overall planning, delivery of its activities, developing new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the project /organization, provide technical expertise in inclusive Disaster Risk Management with focus on vulnerabilities and social inclusion, Build the capacity to communities and government institutions in DRM intervention, lead the team for successful project implementation. 

Admin & Finance Officer: 1 based in Gaur:

  • Completed minimum Bachrlor's degree in account having 5 years' experience in senior management level of NGO/INGO: Overall management of Finance and administration of the organization. She/he have capacity to ensure donor's/Mandwi's compliance and audit requirements, guide financial planning, budgeting and monitoring of the organization, facilitate tax/vat issues, coordination with NGOs/CBOs and stakeholders on program financial managements, prepare contracting and procurement of goods and services, guide collegues to daily administrative activities, Develop the culture of social/public audit producers and methodology across the program, facilitate the year End Fiscal year Closing, transmission of financial report, budget forecasts, supervise and guide to admin, finance and logistic staffs, coordination government offices, counterpart, national and international organization, partners and community people.

Community Volunteer (JTA-Agriculture): I Position based in Gaur Rauthat:

  • Completed JTA- course and have a minimum 3 years work experience of group mobilization with agriculture as a major component.

Community Volunteer (GIS Analyst): 1 Position based in Gaur Rauthat:

  • Bachelor in geographical information system or engineering or (or equivalent) in a relevant GIS subject or similar. Candidate have a minimum two years' work experience of integrated ecosystem map with overlays of land tenure and land uses, forest cover, flood affected areas, agriculture areas, capacity enhancement in data sharing, management of government institutions.

Community Volunteer (Social Mobilization): Position based in Gaur Rauthat:

  • Completed Intermediated having 5 years of experience or Bachelor degree having two years of experience of social mobilization activities in target areas. The main function of the position is to assess the needs for social mobilization, designing context and subject based social mobilization plan. Candidates have good knowledge on disaster management.

Community Volunteer (Public Auditor): Position based in Gaur Rauthat:

  • Completed Intermediate having 5 years of experience or Bachelor degree having two years of experience having sound knowledge on governance, understanding social issues, structure, policies, controls and process of establishing social audits.
