The project Seismic Retrofitting of Unsafe Rural Housing in Nepal aims to establish a robust methodology for scaling-up seismic retrofitting of rural houses in Nepal, enabling homeowner access to government approved retrofitting as a safe, time and cost saving, alternative to new construction. The main objective of the project is to retrofit 1,000 houses across 31 disaster affected districts of Nepal. The project wishes to recruit below given field-based positions for Chitwan, Gorkha, Kavrepalanchowk, Lamjung, Makwanpur, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchowk, Syangja and Tanahun.
Team Leader (30):
Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Civil Engineering with Minimum of one years of practical experience or diploma in Civil Engineering with Minimum of two years of practical experience in engineering field. Experience in Retrofitting, tablet based monitoring would be desirable. Good computer skill, written and oral English and Nepali and leadership quality required.
