Bachelor in Engineering (BE) Admission Open at Kathmandu University:

Kathmandu University Admission Open In Undergraduate Programs Academic Year 2020/2021

Candidates are required to appear in the Kathmandu University Common Admission Test (KUCAT), in either PCM or PCB, according to their choice of the academic program. The Entrance Exam will be conducted in the mode of Computer Based Test (CBT)

1. Program and Specialization: BE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)  Communication Power & Control BE (Mechanical Engineering) Automobile Design and Manufacturing Energy Technology Hydropower BE (Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydropower) BE (Chemical Engineering) BTech (Environmental Engineering) Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria): 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM

2. Program and Specialization: BE (Computer Engineering) BE (Geomatics Engineering) BSc (Computer Science) BArch (Architecture) BSc (Computational Mathematics) Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria): 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM or PMCs (Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science)

3. Program and Specialization: BTech (Biotechnology) BSc (Environmental Science) Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria): 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

4. Program and Specialization: BSc (Agriculture) Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria): 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

Online application starts on October 15, 2020, and ends on November 03, 2020

Applications forms are to be filled online only.

Admit Card for the KUCAT-CBT can be printed ONLINE

Application processing fee of NRs 1500/- is to be deposited at the following Account:

Fee can also be submitted through eSewa and Khalti Digital Wallet.

Students who have passed Grade 11 and are awaiting Grade 12 exams and results can also apply on a provisional basis.
