Tribhuvan University's Institute of Science and Technology (IoST) invites applications for the BSc re-entrance exam for the academic year 2080/081. This exam is crucial for students aiming to enroll in the four-year BSc degree taught under the annual examination system.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have completed Secondary Education (10+2 in Science), I.Sc., or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 100 marks in English.
- Biological Group Aspirants: Must have a second-grade minimum or a final grade of 'C' in Chemistry and Biology (200/200 marks), with an overall GPA of 1.6 or more.
- Physical Group Aspirants: Must have a second-grade minimum or a final grade of 'C' in Physics and Mathematics (200/200 marks), with an overall GPA of 1.6 or more.
- A Level Students: Must pass with a minimum 'E' grade in each subject.
- Foreign Qualifications: Must submit an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center, Sanothimi Bhaktapur.
Application Process:
- Applications are to be submitted online via the IoST website: IoST Application Portal.
- Application Window: Opens on 2080.9.26 at 10:00 AM and closes on 2080.10.3.
Examination Fee:
- The fee is Rs. 2300.- (Two thousand three hundred only).
- Payment can be made at any Global IME Bank Limited branch, using a special voucher to credit the Kirtipur branch, or via online methods provided on the IoST website.
- The bank voucher number or Transaction ID/Product ID must be entered in the online form.
- Please note that examination fees are non-refundable.
