Far Western University, Faculty of Education, has opened admissions for the bachelor’s level program in Technical and Vocational Education, Bachelor in Technical and Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTE). The faculty has invited applications from eligible individuals as it plans to run the four-year program.
Program Scope
According to the notice issued by the university, individuals working in or interested in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector can participate in this program.
The program is targeted especially at candidates who have obtained a diploma qualification in Agriculture and Forestry, Engineering, Information Technology, Health, Tourism, and Hospitality.
Learning System and Key Features
The program includes the Tripolar Learning System (physical, online, and workplace-based) and the Dual Track Learning Model.
It also includes a Credit Transfer facility for TITI training and a provision to convert RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) into credits. Multi-stage certification and an Entry and Exit system will also be available.
Eligibility and Selection Priority
To apply, applicants must have passed at least a diploma in a technical and vocational subject from a recognized educational institution.
The notice states that those with experience in the TVET sector will be given priority in selection.
