
Madhesh Agricultural University B.Sc. Ag. Hons. Admission Notice
Madhesh Agricultural University, Rajbiraj Municipality-3, Madhesh Province, Nepal, publishes a notice informing interested students who meet the minimum educational qualifications that online applications are now open for admission to the 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag. Hons.) under the Faculty of Agriculture for the academic year 2082/83.
Applications can be submitted online from 2082/05/31 to 2082/06/30 by visiting http://entrance.mau.edu.np.
Applicants must upload their academic transcripts and citizenship certificates along with the online application. Those applying under quotas must submit scanned copies of relevant certificates or recommendation letters and a recent passport-sized photograph (both ears visible).
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate at the time of admission.
1) Online Application Process

Applications can be submitted only online at http://entrance.mau.edu.np.

Any false or incomplete information will lead to disqualification.
2) Minimum Educational Qualification
-
Must have passed SEE or equivalent with at least second division or a “C” grade.
-
Must have completed I.Sc. (Science, Agriculture, Animal, Forestry) or 10+2 (Science or Agriculture) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as subjects.

Minimum requirement: 50% marks or a “C” grade in aggregate, or GPA 2.0.

Students from Agriculture stream without Mathematics on their transcript must upload an additional marksheet. For percentage marks, at least 50% is required; for letter grading, a “C” or GPA 2.4 is required.

If no combined transcript of 10+2 is available, the Class 12 transcript will be considered. Applicants must also upload the Class 11 marksheet in PDF.

Applications that do not meet the qualifications will be rejected, and applicants will not be allowed to sit for the entrance exam.
3) Application and Examination Fees

Entrance exam fee: NPR 2,000.

Payment can be made online via e-sewa or Khalti through http://entrance.mau.edu.np.

Use the voucher code from the payment to complete the entrance exam form.
4) Application Dates

Online application open 24/7 from 2082/05/31 until midnight 2082/06/30.

5) Admit Card

After the deadline, admit cards will be available for download.

Visit http://entrance.mau.edu.np, click “Check Your Status,” and print the admit card in color.
6) Entrance Examination
-
100 multiple-choice questions based on 10+2/certificate level subjects.

Exam duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Subjects will be published after the application deadline.

Exam date and center will be determined and announced by the Faculty of Agriculture on www.mau.edu.np.

7) Admission Criteria and Results

Admission will be based entirely on entrance exam scores.

Minimum passing score: 40%.

Merit order will be prepared based on the score.

In case of a tie:
-
Priority will be given to total marks (CGPA) in I.Sc./10+2.
-
If still tied, SEE/SLC marks in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics will be considered.

Results and merit lists will be published on the university website.
-
The decision of the university, faculty, or admission committee will be final.

Requirements for Provincial Quota Admission

Permanent address and community school must be from the same province.

Students applying under Madhesh Province quota must submit a recommendation from the local government or rural/municipality office.

For all other quotas (except Female), applicants must submit valid certificates or recommendation letters as per prescribed format.
