Bhaktapur. The Medical Education Commission (MEC), Government of Nepal, has determined the number of seats for medical education programs offered by various universities, academies, and educational institutions for the academic session 2083/84 BS.
The seats have been allocated in accordance with the National Medical Education Act, 2075; National Medical Education Regulations, 2077; program-specific minimum and accreditation standards approved by the Medical Education Commission; Integrated Procedure for Quality Assessment and Seat Allocation of Medical Education Institutions, 2083; and Integrated Procedure for Operation and Management of National Board of Medical Specialties Programs, 2083.
According to the notice issued by the Commission's Deputy Secretary, Narayan Prasad Pokharel, the Commission decided on 2083/06/30 BS to allocate seats for undergraduate programs, DM/MCh programs, and National Board of Medical Specialties (NBMS) subspecialty programs.
