Call for Admission to Vacant Seats in Nursing and Other Health Programs at Sahid Smarak Janaswasthya College

Kathmandu. Sahid Smarak Janaswasthya College (MMIST College), located at Kalopul, Sifal, has published a notice for admission to vacant seats under the full-fee category in various health programs. Applications have been invited from eligible students through the notice titled “Notice Regarding Registration of Applications from Alternate (Pass List) Candidates for Selection to Vacant Seats,” issued by the Head of the Institute on 2083/02/28.

As per the notice dated 2083/01/28 of the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the result of students who had applied online was published on 2083/02/18. Based on that result, the college stated that seats remained vacant after the main candidates selected for full-fee admission in Nursing, General Medicine, Pharmacy, Lab Technician, and Radiography programs at this college did not come for admission by 2083/02/27.

Eligibility and Criteria for Admission

Different criteria have been set according to the program for admission to the vacant seats:

For the Nursing program: Only candidates listed in the alternate (Pass List) of the same program at this college may apply.

For other programs: In the case of General Medicine, Pharmacy, Lab Technician, and Radiography programs, candidates listed in the alternate list of other health-related programs from this college and other colleges may also apply.

Interested candidates have been requested to appear at the college and submit a duly completed application within 5 days from the date of publication of this notice. The notice has clarified that the received applications will be selected and admitted in accordance with Rule 4, Sub-rule 3 (jha) of the Council’s Examination Regulations, 2083.
