M.Sc. Forestry Admission Notice 2082/83 (AFU)

AFU invites online applications from eligible candidates for the M.Sc. Forestry graduate program at the Faculty of Forestry, Hetauda, Makwanpur, for the academic year 2082/083. Applicants must upload scanned copies of academic certificates, mark sheets, a citizenship certificate, a recent passport-size photograph showing both ears, and a specimen of the applicant’s signature. Applicants who completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from universities or institutions other than those established by the Government of Nepal must also submit an Equivalence Certificate and the original Certificate or Provisional Certificate.
1) Minimum Academic Qualification

Requirement: B.Sc. (Forestry) or an equivalent degree.

Note: Applications submitted without meeting the minimum qualification will be disqualified, and such applicants will not be allowed to sit for the entrance examination.
2) Application and Entrance Examination Fee

Fee: Rs. 3,000 (three thousand rupees).

Additional Notes on Quotas:
Candidates nominated under the MOU between AFU Faculty of Forestry and the Ministry of Forests and Environment will be included under the UDF quota and continued accordingly. If any admitted student cancels admission for any reason, the seat will be converted to the University Development Fund (UDF) quota and filled by the next eligible candidate as per merit.

9) Admission Procedure and Verification

Reporting: Within the prescribed date and time, deposit fees at the Finance and Administration Section of the Dean’s Office; the applicant or guardian must be physically present and contact the Academic Administration Section.

Verification: All original documents will be verified against those submitted at the time of application.

Disqualification: If any document is insufficient, false, or forged, the admission process may be canceled.
10) Admission Authority

Authority: All rights related to admission are vested in the Faculty of Forestry, Office of the Dean.
11) Migration Certificate (For Non-AFU Graduates)

Requirement: Students from other universities/institutions must submit the original Migration Certificate at the time of AFU Registration.

Responsibility: If AFU Registration cannot be completed due to failure to submit the Migration Certificate at that time, the university will not be responsible.
12) Thesis Research

Funding: Costs required for thesis research must be borne by the student.
13) Hostel Facility

Availability: Hostel facilities will not be available for admitted students.
