
B.Tech. Food Technology Admission Ban for Academic Year 2082–83

The following private colleges, affiliated with Tribhuvan University, and running the B.Tech. (Food Technology) program under the Institute of Science and Technology have been found admitting students who did not participate in the official entrance examination conducted by the Institute for the academic year 2081–2082:

Violation
These colleges enrolled students independently, without adhering to the rules of Tribhuvan University, and bypassed the mandatory entrance examination process administered by the Institute. This action is in clear violation of TU regulations.
Decision
As per the decision made in the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Academic Council of the Institute held on 2082/04/06:

These colleges are prohibited from enrolling new students in the B.Tech. (Food Technology) program for the academic year 2082–2083.
